 IPL

Indian Premier League (IPL) is not just a sports event it's a festival for us Indians, we celebrate every win with unmatchable enthusiasm and every loss of our fav team with tears as well.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most popular and lucrative T20 cricket leagues in the world. It was founded in 2007 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and is played annually from March to May.

The league features eight franchises, each representing a city in India. The teams are owned by prominent businesspeople, celebrities, and industrialists. The IPL has become a platform for young cricketers to showcase their talent, and many players have gone on to represent their national teams after performing well in the IPL.

This is a short intro to IPL, therefore, this post is not about IPL this is all about the prize of IPL, the Tata Tiago EV, this 2023 Tata IPL, Tata Tiago EV is the prize and it will be handed to Super Striker of the year mean the player with the highest strike rate. The Tata Tiago EV is the most affordable electric car available in the market right now, so let's know more about this 2023 IPL prize.

Tata Tiago EV

As we all know that nations are turning their face toward EVs and India is also working on this thing with all its strength to give a push to this thing Tata Tiago EV is going to play a model to promote an EV culture in India through IPL 2023.

Tata Tiago EV price.

Right now the Tata Tiago EV is the most affordable EV in the Indian market whose price starts at 8.69 lakh and the top model of this EV cost around 11.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the ice version of Tiago cost around 5.53 - 8.05 lakh.
The electric Tiago is available in two variants, the Medium-range, and the Long-range.

Tata Tiago EV is powered by......

The Tata Tiago EV has two variants as I mentioned above thus it has two battery packs available, one is 19.2kWh and 24kWh batteries. The 19.2 kWh lithium-ion battery is powering the medium-range variants where it churns out 60bhp of power and 110Nm of torque.

On the other hand, 24kWh lithium-ion battery is powering the long-range variants where it serves 74bhp of power and 114Nm of torque.
The best thing about EVs is that they are full of torque, however, I'm not an EV person, and they miss out on the real pleasure of driving.

Tata Tiago EV range

The range is the most important aspect of EVs and when it comes to Tiago EV the medium-range variant gives you 240km of range and the long-range variant gives you 314km of range on a full charge.

How long does it take to charge a Tata Tiago EV?

So, you'll get an AC wallbox charger of 7.2kWh which can charge your Tiago EV in 2.6 hours (10% to 100%) medium-range. 3.6 hours for long-range.
With an AC home charger, it will tak3 7 hours to reach 100% from 10%  for the medium range and for the long-range it takes around 8.7 hours.

Talking about on-road charging DC fast chargers can give you 100% from 10% in just 58 min for both medium & long-range.

And there is one more option which is 15A portable charger which will take 7 hours and 8.7 hours for the medium and long-range respectively.

Design and features of Tata Tiago EV

Major differences in the design language are not there it looks quite similar to the Ice Tiago and why not at the end of the day it is the EV version of that.
The front grille is absent as it needs any, glossy black treatment is giving it a nice and punchy look. The blue tint is there to tell you that this is an EV. The use of chrome is not much only around the fog lamps. It comes with halogen light which is kinda weird use halogen uses more energy than LEDs.

From the side, things are pretty simple and straight forward no drama nothing. A good amount of ground clearance is there, and EV style wheel design and big window area is creating a playful interior.
The back of the car is simple too, tail lights are halogen with basic design, black colour treat is there on the lower side of the back. The rear wiper, washer, and defogger are present following the hatchback tradition. Roof mounted spoiler is there with the stop lamp.

Talking about the interior, you get a decent amount of room at the back and at the front. Quality levels are good and have a good fit finish. Some changes are at the front, like the rotatory dial from the drive selector.

Features
It has all the features that, ABS,
EBD,
ESP,
2 airbags,
TPMS,
Automatic climate control and many others.

This is the Tata Tiago EV, the most affordable EV in the market right now. Comment down your fav IPL team and fav player.
