Tata came up with their small cute looking SUV or you can say micro SUV which is right now impacting the industry incredibly by its punch and the best part is that its name is Punch, Tata Punch, how cool is that or how punchy is that. This is basically a baby Harrier, yes, the looks are very similar to Harrier which is making it new attraction point in Tata.
The car is looking cute even aggressive facial expressions are there, ok so you can get a blend of cuteness and aggressiveness which is one of the best combo out there.
Talking about the interior Tata have done a fab job, good amount of and features are ready to enrich your experience in a Punch.
Being a good siblings, it get the same engine which we have seen in Tata Tiago, Tata Altroz and Tata Nexon, 1.2L Revotron petrol engine, only Nexon have different power and torque figure the rest siblings are same in figures as well.
This is the only punch people wanna taste......
This is one of the most expensive punch, the price of Punch takes off from 5.49 lakh and lands at 9.39 lakh these are ex-showroom digits so I think the top end model will touch 13 lakh in on road price.
The Punch is available in petrol only but manual and automatic transmission are there.

The heart of the matter is not new, we have experienced and appreciated this heart already, so, it's that 1199cc 3 inline cylinder SOHC 1.2L Revotron petrol engine which has ability to generate 86bhp of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 3300rpm, its a FWD vehicle of course, comes with 5 speed manual and AMT transmission and BS6 emission norm is there.
I don't like that it is having AMT transmission at this price point, asking for CVT over this price tag is not too much.

And being a Tata product it have to be a gem of NCAP and it is, it got 5 start rating by NCAP and became safest car of India.
I'm not much happy with the size of the fuel tank just 37 litres but mileage is good, manual gives you 18.97 km/l and automatic gives you 18.82 kmpl.
The size of the tyres is great, 195/60 R16 at both the end of the car. Whereas, it get disc brakes at front and drums at the back.
The lights of the car are not LED sadly but the styling is pretty awesome same as Harrier because it's a baby Harrier.

Exterior
It is an interesting looking car, those SIV characters are there definitely and people are calling it micro SUV, mini SUV but I will say baby Harrier with some Nexon things as well. 
Face
The car is very nicely expressing itself, the sporty and aggressive elements are working great but that few bits of cuteness mingling up with the sportiness amazingly. First thing, the light setup is very similar Harrier and Safari that's why I'm calling it baby Harrier. It also get that triangle thing by Tata, fog lamps are placed at the bottom round shaped.
The black cladding is looking great on the car. The line of humanity or a chrome line is perfectly connecting the DRLs.
Side profile
Coming to the side, you can see the Altroz bits over here. Firstly, the doors make 90° angle alike Altroz and the placement of rear door handle is also showing Altroz. Its a sub 4m car (3.8m) so the lengthy vehicle, wheelbase is good. Alloy design is nice and perfectly merging with its aura. Windows area is big enough, roof rails are non functional, ground clearance is good not to high not to low and that black cladding running all across the vehicle.
Rear end
The rear of the car is the most interesting part of this car. Here it won't show you any other Tata. The muscular designing working perfectly to make it more aggressive and sporty. Comes with slight spoiler with stop lamp, get SUV elements like rear wiper & washer, tail lights design is also very impressive as well.
Black diffuser is giving an incredible appeal to the vehicle.
Its a dual tone car you get different colour on the roof which makes it more style. No sunroof is there, get old school antenna at the front end of the roof.
Interior
The cabin of the car is well put together, you get good amount of space and comfort at the same time.
Front seats seats, it get two adjustable headrests although it won't have middle headrest but it comes with rear center arm rest. The seats have good amount of leg room, knee room, head room and under thigh support is also supporting nicely.
Thanks to big windows which are maintaining an airy and cool atmosphere in the car.
Front seats, seats are nice and provide proper support which is a nice thing. Both the seats are manually adjustable obviously. Get arm rest with some storage as well. You also get cup holders at the center.
Dashboard, now the dash is very cleverly designed by Tata and one intersting thing they have done is that the AC vents get outline of the same colour which is on the body as well, this is a normal thing but it looks super cool indeed.
The dash is simple not much complicated design is used but this simple is going with the personality of this Punch. 
At the middle of the dashboard it get floating touchscreen infotainment system which is full of features and wow graphics and animation. One more thing I wanna say that the dash is very neatly packed.
AC controls are below AC vents after that you get some storage space and nicely wrapped gear knob.
It get three spoke steering wheel with slight flat bottom and along with that, the steering get all usual functions like volume controls, call and other. It comes with the same cluster as Altroz have, semi-digital unit, where you get analogue speedometer on the right side and digital tachometer on the left and at the center a multi information display is working which have bunch of things to show.
My opinion on Tata Punch is, if you are Harrier fan but that beast is out of you budget then you can definitely think about this one, not just because of Harrier kind of design but you het little bit of Nexon, bit of Altroz and on top of these this one one of the most safest car in the the industry and also in its family.
