The interesting part is that the iTrubo run on this petrol engine but it produces more power than regular petrol variant, it produces 108bhp of power at 5500rpm and 140Nm of torque at 1500rpm, FWD, 5 speed manual, BS6 and Sport and City modes are there.

Now the diesel engine fitted in diesel variants, 1497cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC 1.5L Revotroq diesel engine the output of this engine is 89bhp of power at 4000rpm and amazing 200Nm of torque at 1250rpm, 5 speed manual transmission, FWD, BS6, turbocharged and have Eco and City driving modes.

The car is full of features and safety measures of course there are plenty of safety functions.

The best part about this car is 2 airbags, ABS, EBD, child seat mount, and some other features are standard.

Being a safest hatch it gives you some great no. of kilometres in single litre. Petrol gives you 19.55kmpl of mileage meanwhile iTurbo gives you 18.13kmpl and diesel return around 25.11kmpl.
The size of the fuel tank is same for, it can accommodate 37 litres of fuel.

In terms of tyre size the top one get 185/60 R16 (F&R) alloy but the lower variants comes with smaller wheels. It get disc brakes at front and drum at rear.

Sad thing is that it still comes with halogen light setup,

Measure the vehicle

Exterior

The styling is very impressive, sharp, sporty and aggressive. The attitude it have is visible on the face clearly, the car have gorgeous lines and curves which are creating great motion. Altroz have that sharp feel which attract you no matter what.

Front face

In an aggressive way Altroz gives a very interesting and appealing vibes. The striking headlamps design is just  stunning making a nice motion.

Headlamps are slick and attractive but halogen other than that thick chrome line run across the face connecting both headlamps. Gloss black finishing on grille creating an awesome story. The fog lamps are just below the headlamps not at the lower side of the bumper as usual, get big air vent at the bottom better for breathing. Hood get lines on it for more dynamic appearance. Gloss black ORVMs with indicators.

Side profile

From side first thing in my opinion everybody notice and love is that rear door handle placement although its not the new but still I love it and many people too. The length is not that much but keeping premium hatchback thing in mind it is not bad. The ground clearance is decent not much but not bad too. Alloy design is just looking fabulous. The black finishing around windows doing their job with great smile, the rear sharpness is coming out phenomenally from the side. You can see the head lights from the side, this much of strech headlamps have which helps in cornering as well.

Back side

The rear end is absolutely magnificent Tata nailed it, freaking cool. The gloss black finishing on the boot lid is giving a premium touch with big Altroz badging. The tail light providing an astonishing appearance to the vehicle, it get rear wind screen wiper with roof mounted spoiler with embedded stop lamp. The diffuser is also helping in enhancing the sportier appeal of the Altroz.

Shark fin antenna is not there it still uses the old school antenna placed at the front end of the roof, sunroof is not there as well.

Interior

90° gate opening let to experience the comfort and spacious cabin, the cabin have good amount of space and seats are also very comfortable. Ambient lighting is available which refresh your mood at night. The cabin feels great.

Rear seats, the seats are comfortable, recline angle is nice as well. It comes with two adjustable headrest center won't get one not even fixed that's kind of sad. You get center armrest, AC vents, roomy cabin. One thing I know everybody loved that, it get flat floor which means three people would be comfortable. But center head rest is still the requirement.

Front seat, comfy seats which helps you for long journeys, arm rest is present with some storage, the best thing is you can slide the arm rest back and forth with respect of your convenience and seat belts at front are height adjustable.

Dashboard, the dashboard is amazing, with ambient lighting it feel more premium, the quality levels are good. The center area is taken by infotainment system which is loaded with features, superb to use and graphics are also impressive.

You get AC vents just below the infotainment, the ring of ambient light around infotainment system and AC vents is looking mind blowing indeed. AC controls are there, storage to keep you stuffs.

Nicely finished gear knob, with drive mode button nearby. The three spoke flat bottom steering wheel with volume, call, voice control and other buttons. The instrument cluster is analogue digital which tells plenty of information about the car. The right side of the cluster is taken by analogue speedometer with alert light and the left side is for digital tachometer and digital speedometer. At the middle of the display, you get a lot of things about the vehicle.

The car is full of features and the best part is that brand focused on safety which is the best thing, basic safety things are standard on all variants. The looks of the car is also astonishing and cabin is spacious and comfortable......
