Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara won CAR OF THE YEAR award | Price, Performance, Engine, Features | HighRPM

Maruti Suzuki, the leading automobile manufacturer in India, is well known for producing low-maintenance and reliable vehicles. Recently they launched the all-new Grand Vitara a real SUV I would say because of the AWD thing Suzuki is offering.

Price of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.....

The starting price of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is 10.45 lakh and the top model goes all the way up to 19.65 lakh this is the ex-showroom price.

The car is available in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+ variants.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara design and features

The Grand Vitara is designed to cater to the needs of people who love adventure and have an active lifestyle. Its bold and rugged design, coupled with its high ground clearance, makes it perfect for off-road adventures. The vehicle is equipped with features such as All Mode 4x4-i technology, which offers better traction control and stability, especially when driving on rough terrain.

The Grand Vitara is also designed with comfort in mind. The vehicle comes with ample legroom and headroom, making it ideal for long journeys. The seats are ergonomically designed to provide maximum comfort and support, and the interior is equipped with advanced features such as a touchscreen infotainment system and a climate control system.

Suzuki Grand Vitara engine and performance

So, the Grand Vitara is available in mild hybrid (smart hybrid), CNG, and hybrid (intelligent electric hybrid). Unfortunately, there is no diesel engine.

The mild hybrid variant comes with 1462cc 4 inline cylinder K15C mild hybrid system DOHC engine which churns out 102bhp of power at 6000rpm and 136.8Nm of torque at 4400rpm.

The CNG variants get the same 1462cc engine but there is a big difference in power figure, the CNG variants just return around 82bhp of power at 5500rpm and torque of 121Nm at 4200rpm. So in terms of power, the CNG is not that enthusiastic.

Meanwhile, the brand also offers 1490cc 3 inline cylinder M15D petrol engine with a strong hybrid system. The petrol engine gives you 91bhp of power at 5500rpm and torque of 122Nm at 4400rpm. On top of that the maximum power that comes out from the motor is 79bhp at 3995rpm and 141Nm of torque which is crazy. It is equipped with 177.6 V battery placed in the boot.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara mileage and range

T he 1462cc engine comes with both manual and automatic transmission where the manual gives you 21.11kmpl on the other hand auto gives you 20.58kmpl and AWD manual variant extracts 19.38kmpl.

CNG is presenting you 26.6 km/kg which is pretty nice.

But the most fuel-efficient variant is 1490cc hybrid automatic which gives you 27.97kmpl.

The size of the fuel tank is 45 liters now you can calculate the range of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Safety Features in Suzuki Grand Vitara

Maruti Suzuki has always been committed to providing the highest levels of safety for its customers. The Grand Vitara is no exception, and it comes equipped with a host of advanced safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and a collapsible steering column.

The vehicle is also equipped with a range of security features such as an engine immobilizer and an anti-theft alarm system. These features ensure that the vehicle is protected from theft and unauthorized access.

Maruti Suzuki has poured all its love into this car I believe because this car is filled with features, It has hill descent control, 360 camera view, ventilated seats, traction control, heads-up display, android auto-connect, apple car play, pedestrian protection compliance, and one the best panoramic sunroof because it open ups quite big.

It gets smartwatch connectivity as well which gives you information about the car like its lock or not, speeding alert, headlight info, geo-fence info, and other things about the car.

In the global NCAP crash test this car scored 4 stars which are good.

Final Thoughts

Its rugged design, advanced features, and excellent performance make it a popular choice among adventure enthusiasts and families alike. With its high ground clearance, all-wheel drive system, and advanced safety features, the Grand Vitara is the perfect vehicle for those who love to explore the great outdoors. If you are in the market for a mid-size SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is definitely worth considering.
