 Some cars have special place in the market from where they dominant the industry and Indian market have many such cars and out of them the most famous and loving car is Maruti Suzuki Baleno which bring style to the segment. That Baleno is in the front of the nation with new freshness, with new style.

So in clear words Maruti has launched the facelift 2022 Baleno with some wow and extraordinary things for the segment like that head's up display. Although the heart is same and working on that same pace as before. 

Interior has been changed a bit but not much however this time safety features are tightly stuffed which is an addition by Maruti. 

So the price of new Baleno starts at 6.35 lakh which goes up to 9.49 lakh, ex showroom, the car is available only in single engine option with bith manual and automatic transmission.

There is no change in the engine it get the same as earlier which is 1197cc 4 cylinder DOHC 1.2L VVT engine which comes in both 5 speed manual and AMT transmission and BS6 emission compliant of course. 
This engine is able to produce 88bhp of power at 6000rpm and 113Nm of torque at 4400rpm. It produces 3bhp more than its rival, Altroz

The major changes in 2022 Baleno are features, brand fill some more features and also segment's first as well.

Being one of the favourite family car it should return some wow number, so the car gives you mileage of 22.9kmpl (AMT) and 22.35kmpl (manual) which is pretty nice in my opinion. The fuel tank is 37 litres. 

The alloy wheels are looking great where the tyre size is 195/55 R16 same in both the ends and at front it have disc brakes but at the back drums are serving you. 

The car is full of LED lights with changes in design which are giving a kinda fresh touch to the car.

The 2022 Baleno faced reduction in length as well as in height by 5 and 10mm respectively, the new dimensions are as,

Exterior 
Few changes are there on the body which won't give complete identify but add bit of freshness to the vehicle.
Face 
The point of focus on the face is headlight design it has been updated which are looking quite nice as well. As earlier slick DRLs are not there now it gets new DRL style that is going with car's styling.  Thick chrome bar is crawling on the grile giving nice momentum to design. It features LED fog lamps which is an amazing thing Suzuki has done. Sporty looking bumper adding more spice to its looks. 

Side profile 
Some physical changes came out with this 2022 model, like the length is cut by 5mm and height is reduced by 10mm although this is not a thing of concern because such small figures would not effect you in any manner. 
The changes are least in side, chrome line is there nearby the windows giving it premium appeal window area is pretty big making cabin airy and refreshing and it also get small quarter glass as well. 
Wheels are looking nice going with its personality ground clearance is enough for normal humps and bumps not for proper offroading. 

Rear end 
No major changes are there as well but, tail light design got some changes now the design is more likely to be Honda Civic. Here it gets all the hatchback things like, defogger, wiper & washer. Parking sensors are there along with camera. No fake exhaust outlets is there, the real outlet is beneath. 

Interior 
Few changes are here as well, specially dashboard other than that other things are same. 

Rear seats 
Here it have all the usual things like, adjustable headrests, power window, nice room too but at this price point they are not giving center armrest over here which is ridiculous because cars which are cheaper than this car get that. 

Front seat
Seats has been upgraded by the brand and now they are more comfortable and supportive, the side bolstering giving nice and firm hug. Over here it get sliding armrest with small storage space. 

Dashboard 
Dash is the only place which experienced the complete change. It is not a dual tone board, it's a tripple tone dash which is looking fab. It got new bigger and fresh infotainment system which looks more cool than before and this system is literally filled with features. It have android auto connect, apple car play, bluetooth, phone app connectivity and what not. 

The AC vents design is also which at the center which reminding me of some BMW cars. Physical controls of AC and multimedia controls. It won't get wireless charging which is a disappointing thing at this price point although they have giving proper space for phone and stuff. You get two glass holders as well, leather wrapped gear lever and manual hand brake at usual position. There is a sliver kind of treatment in the center console which is giving an attractive appeal to it. 

The most fascinating thing about 2022 Baleno is that head's up display which pops out by a press of a button. This display show you tachometer, speed and time and you get 12 position too by which you can choose the best position of info for you in over this display. 

It won't get all digital instrument cluster which is pretty surprising and the cluster is that old one analogue digital cluster, where you get analogue speedo & tachometer and a MID at the center which shows you bunch of information. 


At the end, this 2022 Baleno is full of new and exciting things specially that head's up display which is segment's first too but it get the same engine no upgrade over there and diesel engine option is not available too and the absence of rear center arm rest is a pain after this much amount but new safety features put a big smile on your face........
