2021 Celerio is now coming with hill hold control and the price starts at 4.99 lakh | Price, Power, Mileage, Features | HighRPM

With new look, with new zest, with you feel, the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio rolled back to the main road of the game and this time the design of the car is on the cute paper thus this Celerio is looking pretty cute. So, the new Celerio get some cosmetic changes inside out which are actually increasing the style and appearance of this car.
Cabin of the car is simple it's not too fancy not much stylish, brand kept things simple and straight to its price slab.
It features all the features you expect from this much money.
Beneath the hood you will find an 1.0L petrol engine which is available in both manual and automatic transmission, AMT.

The price of this new Maruti Suzuki take pace from 4.99 lakh and goes up to 6.94 lakh ex-showroom where manual and automatic options are available along with 6 paint schemes.
  • Maruti Suzuki Celerio LXi.....4.99 lakh       (M)
  • Celerio VXi.....5.63 lakh                                  (M)
  • ZXi.....5.94 lakh                                                (M)
  • VXi AMT.....6.13 lakh                                      (A)
  • ZXi Plus.....6.44 lakh                                       (M)
  • ZXi Plus AMT.....6.94 lakh                              (A)

There is no change in the engine, same engine as the predecessor however the 1.0L 3 inline cylinder DOHC K10 C petrol engine which is producing 66bhp of power at 5500rpm and 89Nm of torque at 3500rpm, its FWD vehicle with both 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT transmission along with BS6 emission compliant.

The car is not the most feature loaded vehicle and it also misses out some important safety features.
  • 2 airbags
  • ABS
  • Hill hold control
  • Power windows
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Engine immobilizer
  • Seat belt warning
  • Speed sensing door lock
  • Manual AC
  • AUX connectivity
  • Start/stop system
  • Electrically foldable ORVMs
  • Defogger
  • Rear wiper
  • Rear washer
  • Parking camera
  • Parking sensors
  • Keyless entry
  • Multi function steering
  • Touchscreen infotainment system
Those request buttons making it more attractive but I'm not happy with the fact that it won't have ESP and EBD, not asking too much but they should think more about safety.

Now the most important thing about this car in which the whole brand is promoting it, mileage, so the automatic variants can extract 26.23 km from single litre of fuel (26.23kmpl) and on the other hand manual pay you 25.17 kmpl of fuel efficiency.
The size of its belly (tank capacity) is 32L which is not so big.

The black alloys are adding different type of current in the car and they are fitted in 175/60 15 at both the ends with disc brakes at front and drum at the back.

It get all halogen light setup where not a single LED is fixed.
Headlamps- Halogen
Tail lights- Halogen
DRLs- No
Fog lamps- Halogen

What is the size of this car?
Length- 3.695m
Width- 1.655m
Height- 1.555m
Wheelbase- 2.435m
Ground clearance- 170mm

Exterior
This new have changes which are bringing new charm to the car thus the smell of freshness is quite impressive. It is now looking more smart than before.

Face
Not have those aggressive expressions on the face, its like simplicity is the key point for this Suzuki. Get small grille with Suzuki logo and a chrome line placed horizontally which is kinda connecting both head lamps. Headlamps are halogen of course at this price point even it won't get any LED setup.
The bumper is looking quite sporty, the black vent are there which is covering a big area and also giving space to round shaped halogen fog lamps. Boot lid is simple not sharp lines nothing and it is very light with no insulation on inside.

Side profile
Thing which are looking absolutely scintillating are those black alloys and the design is also sportier, the black alloys are adding more charm to the vehicle and one more thing which is providing brilliant stance to the Celerio is that roof mounted spoiler.
The best thing is that it get request buttons on either side of the car for front row entrance. Handles are old school but we can't say that because low cost car still feature them. Another applause goes to electrically retractable ORVMs along with indicators. Windows are big enough to draw good amount of light in the room.
The sporty beads are there on the doors but it feels like they want to come out and shine but somehow they are not coming out properly, like there is a small chrome line on either side on a body colour sort of bar which is not reducing the visual bulk.
Ground clearance is also allowing you to take this car wherever you want to take it but over harsh places you have to take extra care.

Rear end
Here Suzuki went two meters ahead, they have given a freaking request button for boot lid as well that's suprising, that's awesome. It get all halogen tail light setup which look like a drop. Rear wind screen washer, wiper are there along with defogger but the defogger connections are visible which is a weirdo other than that rear parking sensors and camera are also there for their job, reflectors are also present and diffuser is just simple looking. Exhaust is beneath the car no showoff nothing. Stop lamps is mounted high nearby spoiler.
No sunroof nothing and at this price that's too much, get old antenna as well.

Interior
Jumping inside the ca, it won't have the most enthusiastic or exciting environment. Things are very basic and normal.

Rear seats
Whole cabin get combo of red and black colour also on seat covers. Over here the space is good but not the best three people can't seat and leg room, knee room are sufficient not the best.
Two fixed headrests are there but these headrests are good for nothing. 60:40 spilt can give you freedom to carry big items. Arm rest is missing, power window controls are not in the doors they are present between the front seats with small space to keep some stuff of yours, this placement of power window control is inconvenient in my opinion.
No rear AC vents nothing of that sort. Windows are big enough so you won't feel claustrophobic in the car. Doors get some space and can accommodate 1 litre bottle easily.

Front seats
The seats provide great support, side bolsters are not that impressive. Adjustable headrests are not over here so that sporty feel might hit you. Sadly arm rest is also absent.

Dashboard
I think brand have tired literally hard to make the dash striking and attractive and they have done some serious hardwork because dash is looking very nice indeed.
I really like the play with the side AC vents the orange colour is a out of box thing but it is giving nice effect to the board.
Glove box is of decent size, silver type of line around the center console.
Here as well the window controls are below the infotainment system along with hazard light button and lock /unlock button and diver won't get power to control all the windows.... wait.... wait.... the position of rear power windows are easily reachable to drive which means clever designing hmmmm...... it save money as well not yours brand's, how, think this by your own and comment down. But whatever the case the usual position of window control is better than this.

Rotatory knob for AC vents are present below that, some storage space and 12v socket and USB port and AUX port are also giving. The silver treatment is present around gear knob too.
The cuts on the dashboard are adding bit of youngness to the cabin.

Infotainment system

It is a basic system with limited things to show and control. It won't get apple car play & android auto connect but it can connect with you car via bluetooth or USB or AUX. You get call control and message functions and music control and other most basic things like music and radio.
Ok, so physical volume controls are only embedded in steering wheel, here touch panals are there on left and right side of the infotainment system to control volume, music, settings and screen on/off button.
Quality of screen good but the quality of parking camera is not good at all.

Steering wheel
Three spoke steering wheel is there with volume and call controls on the left, right side is completely empty. The place of call control is very intersting personally I found it interesting. Quality could have been better. As usual wiper controls are behind it on left knob, meanwhile, right knob is occupied by light and indicator controls. And on the side of steering wheel start/stop button along with auto stop button and ORVMs controls with dummy buttons. You will also find fog lamps switch nearby.

Instrument cluster
I really like the cluster of this car, it shows you your speed very sportingly, the big analogue speedometer is looking very cool and small round digital display which has lots of things to show like tachometer, fuel, range, mileage and other thing you can toggle this with a button in the cluster.
ne thing which could have been better is the size of tachometer being an automobile enthusiastic tachometer gives another type of satisfaction to us.

Boot
Not an huge boot but can enhance the capacity thanks to 60:40 split, partial tray is there which you can remove, no spare wheel under the mat and the loading is pretty high due to which loading heavy items might be a headache.

Quality
Not the best but not the worst too could have been better. The finishing nearby the pedals is not appreciating exposed wiring and connection are looking very bad.

Overall, the car is good at this price we can't expect much, space is descent for a small family, on terms of practicality brand has worked alot and that trials are visible. I really like the request buttons on driver & co passanger side and even on boot lit as well but in my opinion instead of this you should include EBD or ESP. Airbags and seat belt warning are standard in all variants which is a party. And hill hold control is a free cheese top on a pizza or what you love the most.
The car is perfect for daily use, the small size helps you in tackling traffic and finding parking.

This is the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio

Honda has launched the NX500 their new adventure tourer, the NX500 has everything necessary for mile-munching and adventure trips.
