The new KTM RC 200 is ready to rock the roads with new zest and new price, 2 lakh + | Price, Power, Mileage Features | HighRPM

A naughty bike who is able to amaze you by its potential, highly famous between young souls of the nation and full of sportiness, talking about Kraftfahrzeuge Trunkenpolz Mattighofen in short KTM. So, KTM has recently launched two motorcycles, the new 2021 KTM RC 125 & 200. Both the bikes are looking stunning and have wow power and torque delivery but I will talk about only RC 200 in this blog post.

The RC 200 shows an electrifying looks through which it have strong tendency to pull people toward itself.

Bike is powered by 200cc engine which has ability to pull nicely and takes you to some great no. of speed.

This new 2021 KTM RC 200 cost around 2.08 lakh ex-showroom, so easily it will go to 2.50 lakh or 2.60 lakh in terms of on road price. It is only available in one variant along with two colour options.

  • KTM RC 200 Standard.....2,08,717 (2.08 lakh)

This beast comes with an impressive 199.5cc single cylinder with bore of 72mm & 49mm of stroke and compression ratio of 14.5:1, liquid cooled chain drive engine which is capable to produce 25.4bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 19.5Nm of torque at 8000rpm, get 6 speed manual transmission with multi plate wet clutch.

The bike have all the important features which you expect from this price point.
  • Dual channel ABS
  • Side stand warning
  • Low fuel warning
  • Low oil warning
  • Low battery warning
  • Digital instrument cluster
  • Digital speedometer
  • Digital tachometer
  • Clock
  • Fuel gauge
  • Temperature gauge
  • Twin tripmeters
  • Odometer
  • Distance to empty
  • Gear position indicator
  • Gear change indicator
  • Average fuel economy
It have all those things which a bike of this price should have but bluetooth connectivity is still missing and that features nowadays is not a big deal, it could have been better if phone connectivity should be there.

The fuel efficiency of this bike is nit yet revealed by the maker but the fuel tank capacity is 13.7L which is pretty good. I'm wondering that they(brand) can't increase the size of the tank to fit 0.3L.

The best thing is that it comes with dual channel ABS. Runs on 110/70 17 tyre at front with 320mm of disc and at rear it get 150/60 17 along with 230mm of disc brake

It comes with all LED lights
Headlight- LED
Tail light- LED
Blinkers- LED
DRL- LED

In terms of dimensions only seat height and ground clearance is known which is 824mm and 158mm respectively. Other than these Nothing available.

Looks
I'm not a bug fan of KTM but I cannot deny that fact that KTM is an attractive looking machine out there. Those sporty curves are giving crazy vibes which amplifies the the level od zest in you.

Front, the major change KTM has made is at the front, now it won't have those old two small rounded headlamps, leaving that design behind KTM adopted the normal simple looking headlamp and in my opinion the old one were more stylish this one is kinda simple. On the both sides of the headlight it get DRLs which also works as blinkers. It comes with a clear visor to tackle wind blast but you have to dug for that. RVMs are nicely finished and really like the design of the mirrors. 110 front tyre section giving great look and grip as well.

Side, the real sporty lines shines the most from side. The graphics are enhancing the appearance of the bike, being a sports bike fairing is covering some portion of the bike, engine is still visible which is a scene in its own. The orange chassis is coming out as predecessor no change on that.

Ground clearance is not that great on very harsh conditions you have to care, seat height is very high might create some problems to short riders and there is no space for pillion, grab rails are not there although KTM has give space beneath the seat to hold but that's super uncomfortable. Get mono shock suspension at for rear and rim of the wheels are orange in colour. The fuel tank get dual tone finish.

Colour option 1: Silver Metallic

Rear, from back side it got a sharp tail that compliments the whole momentum of design bike has created. The tail light is also looking fabulous, won't get any tyre hugger and rear tyre profile is going with the personality.

Instrument cluster, KTM is giving one of the best cluster, full TFT colourful display which has bunch of things to show which cool graphics and animation and colours as well. One thing which I'm missing is bluetooth connectivity.

At the end, this is a bike for speed lovers and college dudes. Great looks, awesome power and dual channel ABS make it more mature. I hate the new headlight, it won't have any character but the good thing is that LED stuffed in.
Let it roar, let it lean, let it vanish let it be new 2021 KTM RC 200............
