Extract power from 1497cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC Smartstream G1.5 petrol engine which produces around 113bhp of power and 144Nm of torque at 4500rpm, comes with 6 speed manual transmission, clutchless manual and CVT automatic transmission along with BS6 emission norm. 

Petrol 1.4 

It get its power from 1353cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC Smartstream G1.4 T-GDZ turbocharged petrol engine, this one churns out 138bhp of power at 6000rpm and 242Nm of torque at 1500rpm. Comes with 6 gear manual transmission and 7 speed DCT transmission and BS6 emission norm. 

Diesel 1.5 

1493cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC 1.5 CRDi VGT turbocharged diesel engine this engine generates 113bhp of power at just 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque at 1500 rpm comes with 6 gear manual and Torque Converter automatic, BS6 emission compliant.

Exterior 

All the bold and strong elements of the car is perfectly highlighted by the brand which seemlessly providing an aggressive styling. The car has an interesting personality that pulls you toward itself like a magnet. 

Face 

I was talking about the boldness of the car and that things crystal clear at the front, the play which chrome is giving a nice touch to the looks of the car and it get textured chrome, although the texture won't adding any flavour. 

Come with all black glossy grille which is complementing the whole scenario. It have vents nearby the bumper for better breathing. The bumper gets some kind of silver treatment meanwhile the GT version of this get some red touches which actually increases the appearance of the vehicle. 

The car comes with full LED setting that enhances the night drive and looks at the same time. It get four LED lamps at one side with slick thin DRL which almost touches another side DRL. The best thing about the whole headlights setup is the indicators, they are looking very interesting and have engaging design. Another impressive thing is that it get LED fog lamps too. 

On the hood you get new Kia logo and some bold lines, hood is not too heavy but misses out hydraulic function. Other than that in top ends it get rain sensing wipers, front parking sensors, front camera, etc....etc....

Side profile 

From side that SUV character is very nicely popping out. Length of the car is pretty awesome not the most lengthy car as such but able to impress you in no time. It won't have that sloping roof line effect which is actually the trend nowadays but somehow that won't tickle you. Nice thin chrome line is running below windows starting from the ORVMs it ends up behind the quarter glass.  The chrome handles are there with request sensors at front doors. Black cladding is running across the side of the car. Get functional roof rails as well. 

Alloy wheels are there and get disc brakes at both the ends of the vehicle. If we talk about the GT, that variant get red touch which amplifies the sporty presence. 

Being an SUV the ground clearance is showing respect to its segment. Windows are large enough to freshen up the cabin in seconds and it has sunroof too which helps in this as well however it won't get panaromic sunroof and in this price point at least the top end should get panaromic. 

Rear end 

Coming to the back, the rear is pretty busy, too many elements are there which are going with the motion and make the vehicle more attractive indeed. 

The tail lamps are amazingly designed creating a different kind of story. It get thick chrome bar on the boot lid with Kia sign at the middle of it. Rear wind screen wiper is there along with defogger and high mount stop lamp. 

The diffuser of this car is literally looking very impressive that kinda silver touches are giving an incredible appeal to the vehicle. Although you can see that there is exhaust type of shape but unfortunately exhaust is below.

Get parking sensors and parking camera. The boot space is huge with 60:40 rear seats split, there is light in the boot. Spare wheel is placed under the boot which is a space saver and not an alloy wheel so cost cutting has been done by the brand.

 

Interior 

An elegant design with some cool stuffs, the cabin of the car is very nicely creating an astonishing interior. Also keeping the practicality thing in there, space is not the thing of concern in Seltos thanks to great space management. 

Rear seats 

So, at the back seat car gives you good amount of space and airy feel thank you to the big windows, quarter glass and wind screen. The seats are highly comfortable and the level of cushioning is simply fabulous and the best thing is that there is good number of seat upholstery around 6 type of upholstery is available in Seltos. 

At the back you have amazing amount of leg room, knee room, head room and under thigh support is also kicking in. It comes with three adjustable headrests along with rear center arm rest with twin cup holders. Rear AC vents are there and charging points are also available. You get an air purifier display behind front center arm rest. The floor is not flat there slight hump which might make thing pretty uncomfortable for three people. Front seats have pockets, useful of people enjoying the rear seats.

It have both dual tone interior and all black interior as well. Doors open wide enough for easy entry but still less than Tata Altroz. You get manual sun blinds as well. The chorme used in inner door opener giving a premium appeal, Kia's obsession for chrome is clearly visible. Partial tray enhances the practicality. 

Front seats 

Coming to the front, seats have good side bolstering which hugs you tightly, seats offering awesome support. In top variants it also get ventilated seats and electric seat adjust. Arm rest is there with some storage space. One touch up/down window function at driver's door with safety lock function, adjustable ORVMs and all window controls like usual. Front shades have vanity mirror and light in both shade. 

Sunroof is there but the size is not going with the personality of the car and also not with the price of it. 

Dashboard 

All the elements on the dash are perfectly fitted and enhancing the appearance and your experience. At the middle of the dash it get huge 10 inch infotainment system which is literally loaded with features and the graphics quality and animations are pretty impressive. System is easy to use and easy to rear comes with apple car play and android auto connect. It won't have any physical controls for volume over here although steering have controls but this thing might take some time to get use to it. 

Below screen you get AC and AC controls it get automatic single zone climate control AC which works amazingly. You get USB port and little space, in higher variants wireless charging is available. The gear lever is nicely finished in leather. The glove box is not too big its descent size with light inside. Reading lights are LED as well, so attention to detail is quite awful. 

Discussing about steering wheel it is finished in leather three spoke flat bottom multi function steering wheel, which gets cruise control, voice command, volume controls, call control, instrument cluster control etc are embedded. The steering is height adjustable and reach as well. 

Coming to the instrument cluster, the cluster is not fully digital, its an analogue digital unit. On the left side you get analogue tachometer along with temperature gauge, on the right analogue speedometer shows you speed along with fuel gauge and at the center digital display have too many things about the vehicle, like, odometer, tripmeter, distance to empty, time, etc. 

Overall, the car is excellent in many aspects, I really like the build quality and fit finish. In terms of features it offers you plenty of features, comfortable seats and spacious cabin making this an ideal family vehicle. One thing which could be better is sunroof, because the car is on costly side and with respect to that the size of the sunroof is not appreciating, brand should include panaromic in higher ends.
