Sonet Engine, Transmission, Power and Performance 

This Kia comes with three engine choices two petrol and diesel. 

• The diesel variants have, 1493cc 4-cylinder DOHC 1.5 CRDi VGT diesel engine now the automatic torque converter produces 113 BHP of power at 4000rpm and 250Nm of torque at 1500rpm with sports mode, whereas the manual gives 99 BHP of power and 240Nm of torque at 1500rpm with 6 gears. Turbocharged, FWD, BS6. 

• The petrol variants have, 1197cc 4-cylinder inline DOHC smartstream G 1.2 petrol engine gives 82 BHP of power at 6300rpm and 115Nm of torque at 4200, 5gear manual transmission, FWD, BS6. (powering only petrol manual) 

• The other petrol engine which power up iMT and DCT are powered by 998cc 3-cylinder inline DOHC G1.0 T-GDI petrol engine generates 118BHP at 6000rpm and torque of 172Nm at 1500rpm, automatic DCT or clutchless manual, FWD, turbocharged, BS6.

Exterior

The design language of Sonet is very impressive it look quite good and pretty sporty as well, the way every element if the body are fitted together greatly. Being an SUV bold features are not missing they are stricking the boldness. 

Front face

First thing which attracts you is those DRLs, like monster they glow so well just amazing, headlamps are great in design and power do great job at night. Kia put lots of efforts on the face to make it aggressive and the face success because car looks very aggressive due to that bumper work and signature tiger grill. Face have that aggression which an SUV deserves.

Side profile 

From side, I like the big windows and the ground clearance, tyre size is nice alloy design complimenting the wheel, length is similar to it's rivals, non functional roof rails are just there helping in decoration. 

Back side 

It has a very sharp edge with small rear windshield with small wiper, the tail lights are good with good design, diffuser looks good and funky. 

Shark fin antenna is present with electric sunroof. 

Interior

Kia always nail it with their interior, quality of material is next level in this price point. Seats are comfortable, large windows, sunroof what not. 

Rear seats, the reat seats of this car are pretty comfy you'll get center arm rest with duak cup holders, you'll get AC vents, the leg room, knee room and head room is very nice under thigh support working nicely, adjustable headrests are there. 

Front seats, seats ate nice and comfortable provide good amount of support. 

Dashboard 

I'm eager to talk about the dash of this SUV because the dash is just marvelous. The Benz style infotainment and instrument setup is nice, the infotainment screen is full of features you ask it have that slick to use very responsive. 

Below that you'll found AC controls and all, after that leather wrapped gear knob. 

Instruments cluster is not too exciting quite simple and somewhere reminds me Kwid. Three spoke flat bottom steering wheel killing the look.
