BMW has launched the all new G 310RR which is TVS Apache RR310 in every sense other than price | Price, Features, Power, Mileage | HighRPM

BMW G 310R the bike which don't need any kinda intro, this motorcycle of BMW is the most affordable two wheeler which got style, comfort, BMW attitude and BMW legacy. But it's a naked street fighter which has been build in partnership with India's one of the renowned two wheeler brand TVS. 

But not all the hearts out there are street fighter lover that's why the brand has something for those sports loving heart, their all new sports entry level bike, the BMW G 310RR.

This new BMW G 310RR is a dashing machine  with more anger, with more zest and with more passion on face than G310 R. The fit-finish and the appeal of this motorcycle is not less than any big bike.

The bike comes with the same engine that we have seen in the G310 R and TVS Apache RR310.

The new BMW G310 RR is similar to its friend Apache RR310 but in terms of price BMW pulled their hand away and used their name and priced this machine 2.85 lakh and the Style Sport version cost 2.99 lakh ex-showroom.

Generates power from same engine which is fitted in G310 R.

The 313cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine with two overhead camshafts. 80mm of bore and 62.1mm of stroke piston is working with compression ration of 10.9:1, it's a BS6 engine which is obvious nowadays, comes with 6 speed manual transmission. 

This engine churns out same amount of power and torque alike TVS and its naked bro. 33.5bhp of power at 9700rpm and 27Nm of torque at 7700rpm. And with these figures this machine can touch 160km/h of top speed.

Discussing about the mileage of this machine, company claims 30kmpl which is phenomenal for this segment of motorcycle but what's on paper is very different when reality kicks in. The size of the fuel tank is 12 litres.

Golden coloured USD forks are present in front and monoshock at rear. At front it have 300mm of disc rotor & 110/70 17 tyre and at rear it have 240mm rotor & 150/60 17 tyre.

Looks 
One thing which is being sang by everyone that, BMW haven't done any work on designing this motorbike because it is almost similar to TVS Apache RR310 and this thing is very true there is no change. Just logo difference is there. 

Front
Similar to TVS, get bi LED setup which is powerfull and gives you great visibility at night. Comes with clear visor which is not adjustable being a sports machine you have to dug for taking visor services. RVMs are looking nice have attractive shape, telling you nicely what's going on your back. Sharp and slick blinker are coming out from fairing. The golden forks are visible as well. 

Side scene 
That sporty stance force your to loose you heart in a glance.  Engine is very much covered by the fairing where you can find some cool M colours playing their game. Seat height is not to high not to low its on the spot in my opinion. Pillion is quite high following sports bike tradition and won't have space too. Full exhaust outlet but slightly higher than Apache which allow more aggressive cornering. 

Tail 
No changes here as well by BMW, get same tail light design which of course looks fantastic but no design difference man. Slick LED blinkers, grab rail and tyre hugger all are present. 150 Michelin tyre giving you nice grip and look too. 

Instrument cluster 
Same as Apache RR310, vertically fixed intersting colourfull TFT display that makes riding more enthusiastic. This system is loaded with stuffs. Connect your phone with this and get more info about your location, riding style on your phone. Navigation feature is also there to make unknown roads friends. 

Comes with 4 riding modes, Track, Urban, Rain and Sports. The style of the cluster changes according to the riding mode are riding in. 
In Track mode the bike becomes very sensitive, the acceleration and braking get altered. 
In Rain and Urban mode bike goes to smooth and silent state.
And in Sports, you unlocks the beast inside the fairing. 


At the end.....
The bike is phenomenal no doubt and I understand that it has been made in partnership with TVS which is a proud thing for all the Indians including me. But partnership doesn't mean to rebadge a vehicle and BMW have done this rebadge thing. There is no change, absolutely no changes, at least BMW should have done something new to the design, didn't expect this from BMW. 
Other than this, it is powerfull and features loaded too, looks fab will capture lot of attention.
