New Celerio have some Cons and some Pros, so, let's explore them...... | HighRPM

Everything or everyone have some great things and have some flaws as well thus Maruti Suzuki Celerio also have some great stuffs and some bones in a kabab (Middle Eastern cuisines). In this price slab this car have some mind blowing thing but on the other hand there are some things which are personally porking me.

The new Celerio is looking very nice, it has that funky thing which is looking absolutely mind blowing and gives you that welcoming vibes to have some fun with safety. The elements on the exterior are coming out nicely and seamlessly.

Coming to the interior not the most spacious but you get enough space for 4 people however 3 people at rear might find it clumsy.

What about heart?

This new Celerio won't have any change under the bonnet same that 1.0L 3 inline cylinder DOHC K10 C petrol engine which is producing 66bhp of power at 5500rpm and 89Nm of torque at 3500rpm, its FWD vehicle with both 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT transmission along with BS6 emission compliant.

Kitna deti hai? (Mileage)

Automatic- 26.23kmpl
Manual- 25.17 kmpl
Fuel tank- 32 litres

Brand claims this fuel efficiency so in real world it will return around 20-22 kmpl which is not bad in my opinion even it's pretty nice. But the size of fuel tank is quite small at least they can give a tank with 35-38 litres of capacity.

Its time to highlight the pros this car contains......

  • First of all I would say that compare to its predecessor the design is amazing, it get some attractive stuffs as well.
  • The price is on the affordable side although the price features a spike but after BS6 whole industry showed spike.
  • Available in both transmissions
  • Hill hold control, it feels like chilled lemonade in bone melting day, first in segment and very useful.
  • Request buttons or keyless go on drive & co passanger and on boot lid as well.
  • Auto start stop button
  • Sporty instrument cluster
  • Sporty looking black alloys

Cons are there too.......
  • No EBD, ESP, it's my thinking that the request buttons on three places are not that necessary they have given that's fab but instead of that they shoul include EBD and ESP which are more important things for a car.
  • No apple car play and android auto connect.
  • Negligible rear seats headrests.
  • Parking camera quality is not looking like Maruti.
  • Finishing beneath steering wheel is not satisfying.
  • Need a bit more powerful engine not too much just little bit.

These are the things which I personally like and dislike which could have been better. This is a car for people who used to cover 30-40km or more daily and two wheeler is not their choice. Due to its compact design it can easily filter traffic and easy to park as well.
