The new Glamour is more glamorous than before and very much fuel efficient. | Price, Feature, Mileage, Power | HighRPM

The new commuter bike came to the market from Hero's factory with some new features and with some you makeup and style. Talking about the new Hero Glamour Xtec, we all know that these bike are highly practical and encounter less robberies to your pocket because of their mind blowing mileage and less maintenance attitude.
The Glamour is not a new player in the game but this new one get some cool and modern tech things that make this bike more attractive and smart for this smart nation.
The new Glamour comes with 125cc engine which delivers you not the jaw dropping ride but take you to your destination seamlessly. There are some cosmetic updates that are adding freshness to its appearance. The bike is available in two variants, where, there is difference of braking system nothing else, one comes with drum brake system and the other one, the top one comes with disc.

Hero put the price of the new Glamour Xtec in a pocket friendly zone where the starting price is 84,814 and the top end cost you around 89,328. The bike is available in two variants.
hero glamour Xtec Drum.....84,814
Hero Glamour Xtec Disc.....89,328

This bike is powered by 124.7cc single cylinder air cooled engine with 52.4mm of bore & 57.8mm of stroke and compression ratio is 9.9:1, fuel injection tech, chain drive, 5 speed manual transmission and BS6 emission norms.
This engine churns out 10.72bhp of power at 7500rpm and torque of 10.6Nm at 6000rpm and with these figures you can touch 95 km/h of top speed. For a commuter bike these power and torque figures are sufficient in my opinion.

Although the bike is not over filled with features but it gets all the basic things and Hero have also given some extra features.
  • Combi braking system
  • Mobile connectivity
  • Navigation system
  • Digital instrument cluster
  • Digital speedometer
  • Tachometer
  • Twin tripmeter
  • Odometer
  • Gear shift light
  • Gear position indicator
  • Auto headlight
  • Side stand alert
  • Low fuel warning
  • Ride smart feature
  • USB charging

The size of fuel tank is 10 litres where you get 1.4 litres of reserve fuel and the best part of these bike is that this is one of the mileage king, 55kmpl of mileage which is phenomenal, therefore you can calculate the range of the vehicle, i.e,. 550km.
In the world where petrol prices are like bones melting sun these types of vehicle is not less a cool breeze.

The bike won't come with ABS feature because below 150cc ABS is not mandatory, but this thing comes CBS (Combi Braking System). The bike is available in both drum as well as disc brakes.
The bike runs on 80/100 - 18 (front) and 100/80 - 18 (rear) tyres. To absorb all the shocks it have telescopic suspension at front and 5 step adjustable hydraulic suspension at rear.

Good thing is that this bike features LED lighting setup that looks cool and have good power as well.
Head light- LED
Tail light- LED
Blinkers- Halogen
DRL- LED

What are the dimensions and weight of this Hero?
Length- 2,051mm
Width- 743mm
Height- 1074mm
Wheelbase- 1273mm
Ground clearance- 180mm
Seat height- 793mm

Looks
Being a commuter bike, it focuses more on practicality, more on fuel efficiency the design is not that catchy alike other commuters out there. But its simple personality is its main point in my opinion. No flashy body lang, not much aggressive stance makes it stylish in its own way.

Face
Thanks to the new updated head light which is given it new touch and fresh appeal, the new head light design is quite sharp thus the face is giving sportier vibes, thus the overall personality is looking great. Hero deserves an applause for providing LED headlamps because some highly expensive bikes are still living in halogen era not talking about Kawasaki Ninja 300sarcasm is kicking in.
Comes with halogen blinkers with usual look, get a small kinda visor as well for completing the look not for other use, telescopic suspensions are serving you the best possible comfort, RVMs are telling you the nice view of your back and ya I know that 80 section tyre is very slim and won't provide you extraordinary grip but these tyres are ideal for fuel efficiency and this vehicle is all about that.

Side profile
Basic in terms of looks but have some graphics on, which trying to maintain the look of the bike. Ground clearance is nice, seat height is great for everyone. comes with single piece seat with slight step up thing. The engine is fully exposed where you can see the guard for engine as well, full size exhaust outlet which is not a singer at all and if you are expecting it to sing for you than that's you problem. It comes with a kick starter as well. Fuel tank size is not the best, not great for this bike, saree guard is present too.

Tail
The rear of the bike is decorated by a simple look, LED tail lamp and halogen blinkers are attraction over here. You get a grab rail to hold on, mud guard and 100 section tyre.

Instrument cluster
I'm in love with its cluster seriously, the cluster have a lot to show, firstly on the top you get all the alert lights and indicators, then you have a full digital display which is divide in two sections the left section is dedicated for speed, tachometer, gear position, time, tripmeter, odometer, fuel gauge and service alert. Meanwhile, the right side is only for mobile connectivity where it shows you turn by turn map, SMS notification and call alert.

At the end....
The bike is very purposeful, very practical, indeed great for daily task, have amazing mileage as well that shines the most in today's world where petrol is going up like this is our last day on earth. But if you a rider kind of person who loves to go hard & fast and you don't have a budget then this particular motorcycle is not for you. Other than these things, this bike is also provided with bluetooth connectivity that makes this two wheeler more attractive indeed.
This is the new Hero Glamour Xtec a purposeful machine in pocket friendly pricing.....
