Tata launched the CNG version of Tiago and Tigor at 6.1 and 7.7 lakh respectively | HighRPM

 Yesterday Tata launched the CNG variants of Tiago and Tigor. Tiago and Tigor are two gems of Tata's portfolio where the CNG variants won't get any cosmetic changes other than iCNG badge on the boot lid. 

So to deliver the best experience to their costumers, Tata have given these cars some cool and impressive things although there is no change in exterior as well as in the interior. The CNG variants are pretty expensive than the regular petrol variants. 

The thing for which Tata is famous for, safety, so it doesn't mean that they have only focused over less emission vehicle they have given all the important safety features. 

Price and variants of CNG Tiago and Tigor

The price of Tiago iCNG starts at 6.1 lakh and goes up to 7.65 lakh, Tiago iCNG is basically available in four variants and one Dual Tone option. 

  • Tiago iCNG XE.....6.1 lakh 
  • Tiago iCNG XM.....6.4 lakh 
  • Tiago iCNG XT.....6.7 lakh 
  • Tiago iCNG XZ+.....7.53 lakh 
  • Tiago iCNG XZ+ Dual Tone.....7.65 lakh 


On the other hand the Tigor iCNG's price starts at 7.7 lakh and end end cost 8.42 lakh, it is available in two variants and one Dual Tone. 

  • Tigor iCNG XZ.....7.7 lakh 
  • Tigor iCNG XZ+.....8.3 lakh 
  • Tigor iCNG XZ+ DT.....8.42 lakh 

Engine 
Both comes with same 1.2L Revotron petrol engine with 5 speed manual transmission which produces 85bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. Switch to CNG power and torque reduces, 72bhp of power and 95Nm of torque. 
With its advance ECU you can switch between petrol and CNG with an ace.

Due to CNG kit both the cars put on 100kgs thus the brand have re tuned the suspensions for smooth ride quality and comfortable as well.
