A new player came into the 125cc game, with its handsome personality and features it gained good amount of concentration. TVS launched the new naked which is looking absolutely mind blowing, the sharp looks and sporty lines all are giving amazing appearance to Raider. The bike comes with good engine and nice amount of features which makes Raider an interesting machine.

Raider mine its power from 125cc single cylinder engine which have ample amount of power and torque other than that it is highly fuel efficient motorcycle and 4 colour paint options.

The price of TVS Raider is on the affordable range, it starts at 77,500 (77.5k) and goes up to 85,469 (85.47k)

The bike is available in two variants or you can say in two different braking system,

  • TVS Raider Drum.....77.5k
  • TVS Raider Disc.....85.45k

The bike get stuffing of 124.8cc single cylinder 4 stroke air-oil cooled fuel injected engine with 53.5mm of bore and 55.5mm of stroke and compression ratio if 10.3:1 and 5 speed manual transmission and BS6 emission norm. This engine is capable of to produce 11.2bhp of power at 7500rpm and 11.2Nm of torque at 6000rpm which pretty nice for this segment of motorcycle.

The brand has filled the bike with lots of features and some are segment's first.
  • SRT (Snyc Braking System) (Combi Braking System)
  • USB charging point
  • Side stand warning with engine turn of system
  • Helmet reminder
  • Auto idle stop
  • Top speed recorder
  • Gear position indicator
  • Gear change indicator
  • Average fuel economy
  • Distance to empty
  • Clock
  • Digital speedometer
  • Digital tachometer
  • Digital odometer
  • Digital twin tripmeters
  • Fuel gauge
  • Service indicator
  • Economy and power riding modes
  • Under seat storage
  • Low battery warning
  • Low fuel warning

Raider is a long run animal because it has an amazing mileage figure by ARAI, it gives you around freaking 67 km/p but this might vary in real world but still these figure is mind shaking on the other hand it comes with 10 litres of fuel tank, so, with easy mathematics it has mind blowing 670 km of range.

Raider runs on 80/100 17 tyre with 130mm of disc and at rear it get 100/90 17 of tyre.

The best part is that it get LED lights which is a nice touch at the price points.
Headlamp- LED
Tail light- LED
DRL- LED
Blinkers- Halogen
(Don't use high beam in city it become dangerous for you as well as for other too, even on highways use high beam when necessary. Be a responsible rider and driver)

Dimensions of the Raider are following-
Length- 2.07m
Width- 78.5cm / 785mm
Height- 1.028m
Wheelbase- 1.326m
Seat height- 78cm/780mm
Ground clearance- 18cm/180mm

Looks
The Raider is looking superb, it have sporty elements which are literally enhancing the appearance of the bike and making it very attractive and charming

Front, new shape of DRL is a nice and exciting appeal to the face of the motorcycle. The good thing is that it LED headlamp meanwhile the blinkers are not LED but at this price point this things is pretty acceptable. Being a naked street fighter it won't get any kinda visor means you have to tackle all the wind blast by your own with your helmet. The tyre profile is not impressive at all which is ok because it is just 125cc motorcycle.
Colour option 1: Blazing Blue

Colour option 2: Striking Red

Colour option 3: Wicked Black

Colour option 4: Fiery Yellow

Side, well packed bike Raider is, everything seems nicely fixed. The engine is fully exposed which enhances the view whereas engine guard is there for protection. The fuel tank is very nicely design with proper knee room and sporty finish. It comes with spoke wheels with disc brake at front and drum at the back in addition it get Combi Braking System and ABS is missing. The split step up seat setup, the seat height is accessible for all riders. Shree guard is there as well.

Back, thick chunky grab rail is there for pillion or to tie up some small things. It won't get tyre hugger, tyre profile is not intersting and tail light is very minimalistic but very attractive because of uts sharpness and LED power. On the other hand the blinkers are halogen again.

A very nice and useful thing this bike have is its under seat storage capacity, yes, beneath the pillion seat it get small storage compartment where you can put you phone, tablet, small book and some other small stuff of yours.

Instrument cluster, not too big display is available it's but small in my opinion the size of the cluster and design is pretty similar to Honda Hornet's cluster. The display gets multiple colours which make information more interactive and easy to use.

Overall, the bike is fab for office dude who have to travel good kilometres daily because it terms of mileage this thing is amazing and it is also for college guys because of decent power and attractive attitude.
