New 2021 Octavia has been launched with new increased height of price | Price, Power, Mileage, Features | HighRPM

 After waiting so long for segment's king, it came out with enhanced comfort, style and performance  and one more important thing, price. The sedan with great character and presence, the sedan with exceptional beauty, the new Skoda Octavia 2021. The new Octavia has been launched in India, there are lots of changes you can say brand completely changed the car in terms of looks and interior. Other than looks and all there is a dramatic change in price as well. The new Octavia have some new, great elements which are making this car more attractive. 

The car only available in petrol engine with automatic transmission, diesel is not yet available. 

The car is available in two variants Style and L&K, the starting price is 23.99 lakh and top model cost 28.99 lakh, respectively.

This Octavia pulls out its power from its 1984cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC 2.0L TSI Turbocharged I4 petrol engine with fuel injection, FWD, 7 speed DCT, paddle shifters & sport mode and BS6 emission norm. 

This 2L turbocharged engine produces 188 bhp of power at 4180rpm and fantastic 320Nm pf torque at 1500rpm.

The mileage of new Octavia is not yet revealed by the Czech automaker meanwhile the size of the fuel tank is 50L.

Having a powerful engine demand a good braking performance for that this is equipped with disc brakes at both the ends of the Octavia.

Seriously speaking I love the alloy design it gives a very sportier and aggressive appeal to the car and tyre size is 205/55 R17 (F&R), 18 could have been better.

Exterior

No doubt that the new one is looking more stylish than predecessor. New cosmetic changes are perfectly complimenting the character of the car, it sharp, sporty and beautiful lines are just giving a twist to the car. 

Front face

The new bold elements are shining very nicely, the use of chrome is simply cleverly used which slightly leave its fragrance but that gives premium feel. It get LED headlamps with updated DRLs although I love the old one as well, these new design is very saphosticated however they are giving great attitude to the car. 

Tiger grille is surrounded by chrome increase the richness of the car. Horizontally placed fog lamps are there which connected to each other via chrome line. 

Sharp bumper enhancing its boldness and same thing hood is doing due to those aggressive styling on it with along with new Skoda logo.

Side profile

Phenomenally impressive length and wheelbase. Not so happy with 137mm ground clearance I mean sedan should get this type of ground clearance but for Indian roads this thing  tells you to be more focused. Alloy design is just awesome giving very sportier appeal although the 18 inchers could have been better. Large windows are there with chrome line surround and body coloured handle.

Back side

The rear having great sporty vibes and aggressive styling which suits the vehicle. The tail lights are looking super cool and the best thing, the rear indicators are dynamic swipe indicators which creates an amazing effect. Defogger is there, diffuser is looking amazing. Exhaust outlets are not visible Skoda hided them under body. 

Shark fin antenna is there but one of the most disappointing thing about this sedan is that it won't have sunroof, yes, Skoda removed the sunroof why, only Skoda knows that. In this price point you are not giving a sunroof is something unexpected, if 2021 Octavia fail to attract people as earlier will jist because of this sunroof. 

Interior 

The car is very luxurious with respect to price point. Cabin bave good amount of space and amenities. 

Rear seats, at rear the spacious thing comes in very nicely and comfortably. Get all adjustable headrests along with center arm rest with cup holder and rear AC vents. The car also features rear windshield blind you can have control it manually and rear windows sun blinds are there too, manual. 

Front seats, all the amenities are present at front, seats get electric adjust with memory seats. Seats are looking very comfortable and perfect for long trips indeed. Although the windows are large enough but sunroof thing will tease you especially at this price point. 

Dashboard, very well put together, all the ingredients are making dashboard clean, simple bu t supremely stylish. One this which I love the most is that two spoke steering wheel however Mercedes have used it in their car but stll it is giving me bery saphosticated and elegant appearance. It get multi function steering with paddle shifters and tilt & telescopic adjustment. With all digital instrument cluster it enhances the driving feel. 

The bug of the infotainment system has been increased by the brand and now it ks more exciting than earlier have too much of features and great to use. Skoda uses a very innovative trick to control the volume just blow that infotainment screen you get a thin horizontally place bar which is touch sensitive through this you can control the volume. Below that you get AC vents and its control along with hazard light switch. 

You get some space and wireless charging pad. Skoda also removed that old school gear selector and gave small you can say a button to change the gear. The ambient lights are greatly works at night and you have plenty of colour options too. 

Overall, the car is great but that sunroof thing is poking me and brand have increased price too much other than that the cad is just flawless.
