Mahindra Scorpio looks great, and bold as well but lack some important features | Price, Power, Mileage, Features | HighRPM

 Attitude, power, capability merge together and form Mahindra Scorpio, the SUV with powerfull heart which provide great amount of torque. Scorpio is a very sporty looking SUV with boldness in the veins. 

The car is available only in diesel engine which produces great amount of torque and power and there is no automatic transmission available right now.

Price of this Mahindra starts at 12.31 lakh and the top model goes up to 17.02 lakh, it is available only in diesel engine and in 6 variants,

Scorpio is only available in diesel engine and in manual transmission no automatic available, it comes with, 2179cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC 2.2L mHawk turbocharged diesel engine, this engine produces 119bhp of power at 4000rpm and 280Nm of torque at 1800rpm in S3 variant and in other variants it generates around 137bhp of power at 3750rpm and 319Nm of 1500rpm.

The base variant have 5 gears other variants have 6 gears and all are BS6 emission compliant.

The car misses out many importent features and in this price cars less pricey than Scorpio have lots more features, Mahindra should work on this. 

The mileage of Mahindra Scorpio is 15kmpl and the fuel tank size is 60L 

At front end it get ventilated disc brakes and drum brakes at rear. The size of the tyres is 235/65 R17, alloy wheels.

Lights are looking nice but they are not LEDs unfortunately.

Exterior

The Scorpio is an aggressive looking vehicle, boldness and fearless expressions are creating an interesting effect which levels up the attraction level. Its personality kicking the normal momentum and bringing up the angry off road momentum. 

Front face

Bold elements are coming out phenomenally and making an engrossing profile. The vibes coming from face are so strong that force you to stare it. That adventurous feel is definitely there no doubt.

Small kinda rectangles with chrome outline constructing an awesome grille with Mahindra logo at the middle. 

The headlamps are looking gorgeous but sadly they are not LEDs and the cost is enough for full LED setup. Fog lamps are also halogen that's very disappointing thing from Mahindra. The bumper is very impressive and appears great indeed. The hood get a scope which helps in cooling the engine to some extent. 

Side profile 

Length is very impressive, ground clearance could have been better a bit. The windows are large enough to draw sufficient amount of light and air inside the Scorpio. No cladding treatment on the side, you get side step for easy entry. Alloy design is simple not that attractive but size is great. Being 7-9 seater it have big windows for last row as well. Won't have shark fin antenna, it get old school antenna at the front. Functional roof rails are there, the roof is hiked up above last row for giving proper head room to last row passangers.

Back side 

Big rear windshield with rear wiper, "B" shaped tail lights are looking fabulous and they are LEDs. It get rear step as well for climbing to the last row. The diffuser is sporty looking. There is a sort of roof mounted spoiler too to give it sporty appeal. 

Interior 

The interior is full of space gives you good amount of room. Quality is not that mind blowing and in this price point they should provide amazing quality. 

Last row, actually the last row have jump seats and the biggest problem with jump seats is no space, same applies here head room is great but no room for knees if two people are sharing the space. The last windows are not fully openable but you can slightly open it for air. Not claustrophobic because of big rear windshield but my personal experience is not joyful. Other than sitting space it is also boot you can fold the seats and use it as a boot. You can't enter here through second row you have to enter through the boot. There are not seat belts too, that kind of shocking. 

Second row, here you get good amount of room with two adjustable headrests and no headrest for the center passenger. You get center armrest, rear AC vents, head room is amazing, knee room is nice, leg room is good and under thigh support is decent. 

Front seats, get adjustable headrests with manual adjustable seats. The best part is that front seats have separate foldable armrests. 

Dashboard, design is simple but looks good all the elements are doing great, but build quality could have been better. Glove box is there have nice amount of storage capacity above that you get Scorpio badging. Coming to the center, AC vents at the top, below that a touchscreen infotainment system which is full of features and great to use. You get AC controls below infotainment. Gear lever feel nice to hold, cup holders are there and manual hand brake. 

The dashboard seems premium but build quality is not going with the image and with price tag. 

Have four spoke steering wheel with big horn, being a multifunctional steering it have lots of buttons to control volume, call, MID and other usual controls. The instrument cluster is basic, left side you get analogue tachometer and right side is equipped with analogue speedometer at the middle you get small digital display which shows many things about the vehicle. 

Overall the car is amazing in terms of design looks cool and sporty, engine is very impressive jave great torque which kicks in fast and sharply however the build quality could have been better, there lots of missing features and in this price point halogen are not complimenting. 

With lots of swag and attitude this is Mahindra Scorpio..........
