Citroën C5 Aircross has been launched with comfort, power and performance | Engine, Power, Price, Features | HighRPM

French automaker Citroën now completely in India with their beautiful looking SUV, the Citroën C5 Aircross. The car is extremely stunning in terms of looks and in terms of comfort & amenities. Sporty spices are there for sure because sporty aroma and taste which are hitting you sharply. Car comes with some new elements as well which makes it pretty different from other SUVs in this segment. The cabin is great with luxurious things embedded to enhance the experience in C5 Aircross.


The Citroën C5 Aircross launched with price tag of 29.90 lakh and this price tag says 31.90 lakh for the top end of C5. 
C5 Aircross comes in two variants, petrol engine is not there but probably in future no clue.

This French SUV is only available in diesel engine no petrol is there. It gets 1997cc 4 inline cylinder turbocharged DW10FC diesel engine with 8 speed automatic transmission, paddle shifters are there, BS6 emission norm and Eco & Sport modes are also there.

This diesel engine prepare 177bhp of power at 3250rpm and 400Nm of torque at 2000rpm.

Exterior

The design of Aircross is very impressive, different things are going on the design which makes it very attractive. Bold features are coming out very nicely which are reflecting bold behaviour. 

Front face 

The face is bold and stylish too it gives a very nice and striking appearance. One of the best thing I love the most about Citroën is that the way they place their logo merging with the momentum is just magnificent. Here the use of chrome is amazingly done by the brand, the chrome lines which are containing Citroën signature creating a great flow, these line join the DRLs at both the ends.

The grille is very nice, making an attitude status, the chrome touches are working on the favour. The headlamps are mind blowing in design and in job as well, the grille is also merging with headlamps alike DRLs. Bumper is sharp and looking great, very interesting thing Citroën did is those kinda squares in the bumper creating a nice effect. Fog lamps are round in shape and very small in size.

Side profile

The length is very nice, ground clearance is great too, windows are large enough for refreshing cabin instantly. The wheels are good in size and the alloy design is also looking fab, that kinda box which are there on face is here as well at the bottom embedded embedded in black cladding. It get functional roof rails. 

Back side

I love the tail lamps it is divided into four small zone type with this thing the whole setup looks cool. Other elements are pretty simple, small wiper on rear windscreen with washer as well. Have roof mounted spoiler with stop lamp. Diffuser have sporty vibes with dual exhaust which are chrome surrounded but unfortunately they are fake just for look nothing else, exhaust is below. 


Interior

Inside C5, the sportiness that we have seen outside that sportiness take a 360 flip and vanishes inside, replaced by comfort and luxury. 

Rear seats, here you get three full size seats not like other, not giving priority to the middle person, Citroën thought about the middle person as well and gave a proper seat. 

The seats are very comfortable cushioning level is also very impressive feels great and premium. Leg room is nice, knee room is good, love the head room and thigh support is also enough. Now it have three complete seats it won't get rear center arm rest. The room is airy and spacious very nice and great place to hang out, rear AC vents are there to chill the environment easily. 

Front seats, the front seats are on the extreme level of comfort, supportive as well, drive get some extra focus that's why it get electric seat. Seat belt height is also adjustable here.

Dashboard, the board is just amazing something different something interesting Citroën did here, like AC vents and other things and the quality is jaw dropping.

Infotainment system at the center which is full of things to explore it also get touch buttons, the system is responsive and slick to use.

Below that you won't get physical AC controls because you get virtual, you get drive modes buttons to select the best for you and for situation as well between eco and sport. It also have five different type of terrain options, gear knob is very nice with electric parking brake. The arm rest is very nice but similar to BMW.

The instrument cluster is fully digital with lots of information and the graphics & animation is fab.
