Royal Enfield Shotgun 650

Royal Enfield has launched the new Shotgun 650 which is pretty similar to the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in terms of engine, electronics, and power figures. But has a new charm, a new feel, and the most important thing nowadays, a new vibe. That bobber styling enhances your personality thanks to its aura.
Being a Royal Enfield it is a handsome-looking bae, and that muscular stance is in the blood. The body language is very impressive and eye-catchy, those bold lines are flowing all over with elegance but carry an attitude that is coming out mind-blowingly.

Royal Enfield has launched this bike in only one variant but there are lots of customization and 4 color paint jobs are available thus the pricing of the bike starts at 3.59 lakh and this pricing goes all the way up to 3.73 lakh.

What about the engine of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650?

So, there is no change in the engine, what you get in Super Meteor 650 is the same engine in this one as well.
A 648cc parallel twin 4-stroke SOHC air-cooled engine with a bore of 78mm stoke of 67.8mm and a compression ratio is 9.5:1.

This engine churns out, 46.3bhp of max power at 7250rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5650rpm. Have a 6-speed manual transmission, BS6 emission norm, and fuel injection.

The Royal Enfield is claiming somewhere around 22kmpl and this is almost the same as the Super Meteor 650, Super Meteor's owners have mentioned 23kmpl of fuel efficiency.
The Shotgun has 13.8 liters of fuel capacity. With simple maths, the range of a Shotgun is 303.6km which is 304km.

It comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster where you will get two different round dials, the left one tells you the speed, trip, and gear shift indicator, but has no tachometer. The right dial is a digital one that connects with your phone and gives you turn-by-turn navigation. The whole setup is similar to some other RE models.

The design of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.....

That bobber charm is reflecting phenomenally making it an attractive machine like other siblings in the family. All the elements are complimenting each other which make this a picture perfect motorcycle. One can clearly say that this machine is inspired by that custom culture of motorcycle that why RE hasa given plenty of options.
It comes with round LED headlamp and round LED blinkers to give it a vintage or ratro touch. There is a small wind screen as well but it's good for nothing. There are two mirror option RE offering you one is bar end mirror and another one is the normal mirror.
Basically it's a single seater bike but you can opt for pillion seat as well and a luggage holder too is also in the customization option.
The fit finish is top notch as you expect it from the Royal Enfield. Dual exhaust setup is there but the vocals are decent won't have that zesty voice, it is similar to Super Meteor. Low seat height is good for short riders.

At the end, this Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is new in the game but has blood which contain history.
