First of all the most important thing what is the price of these motorcycle?
- Royal Enfield Himalayan- 2.48 lakh - 2.56 lakh
- BMW G 310 GS- 2.90 lakh
- KTM 390 Adventure- 3.83 lakh
Ex-showroom prices
Over here, out of these three the KTM is the most expensive one meanwhile Himalayan has the lowest price than other and the best is that Himalayan carries the biggest engine compare to other two.
Engine and Power
Himalayan- 411cc single cylinder air cooled engine with bore of 78mm and 86mm of stroke and the compressions ratio is 9.5:1, get 5 gears and BS6 emission norm.
Power- 24.3bhp at 6500rpm

G 310 GS- 313cc single cylinder water cooled engine, bore- 80mm; stroke- 62.1mm and compression ratio is 10.9:1. 6 gears, BS6 emission norm.

Power- 42.3bhp at 9000rpm
Torque- 37Nm at 7000rpm
It is clearly visible, why KTM is the most expensive in the group one cause is this, it gives you mind blowing power & torque.
Mileage
Himalayan- Mileage- 37km/l
Fuel tank capacity- 15L
Range- 555km
G 310 GS- Mileage- 30km/h
Fuel tank capacity- 11L
Range- 330km
390 Adventure- Mileage- 25.7km/l
Fuel tank capacity- 14.5L
Range- 372.6km
Himalayan gives you the best mileage, where you also get biggest tank than other however BMW disappointed me over here, fuel tank size is small and mileage is also not that impressive too
Brakes, tyres and Suspension
Himalayan- Tyres- Front- 90/90 21
Rear- 120/90 17
Brakes- Disc brakes at both the ends.
Dual channel ABS switchable.
Suspension- Telescopic (Front)
Mono shock (Rear)
G 310 GS- Tyres- Front- 110/80 19

Brakes- Disc brakes (Both)
Dual channel ABS switchable
Suspension- Upsidedown fork (Front)

Good thing about Himalayan and 390 is that they get switchable ABS which is absent in BMW, beemer should give that. All the bikes get dual channel ABS whereas BM and KTM get Upsidedown forks as complementary
Dimensions and weight
Himalayan- Length- 2.190m
Width- 840mm
Height- 1.370m
Wheelbase- 1.465m
Ground clearance- 200mm
Seat height- 800mm
Weight- 190kg
G 310 GS- Length- 2.075m
Width- 880mm
Height- 1.230m

390 Adventure- Length- 2.154m
Width- 900mm
Height- 1.4m
Wheelbase- 1.430m
Ground clearance- 200mm
Seat height- 855mm
Weight- 163kg
Length, width, height and wheelbase is almost same of all the bikes but if you are going to think about a mm then Himalayan won in length.
Ground of Himalayan and 390 is very impressive complementing their adv nature on the other hand BMW ground clearance is not yet available.
Coming to the seat height, Himalayan is good for all short and tall riders but KTM's seat height is too high for short riders and same goes for BMW.
Lights
Himalayan- Headlamp- Halogen
Tail light- LED
Blinkers- Bulb
DRL- NA
G 310 GS- Headlamp- LED
Tail light- LED
Blinkers- LED
DRL- LED
390 Adventure- Headlamp- LED
Tail light- LED
Blinkers- LED
DRL- LED
Now, this Enfield is not a low cost bike which can't give LEDs.
Features
Himalayan- Comes with all the basic features including bluetooth connectivity and navigation. It get analogue digital instrument cluster which looks very nice.
G 310 GS- It comes with just basic features, no phone connectivity nothing like that. Digital instrument cluster is there to tell you about the bike.
390 Adventure- It offers you traction control system, phone connectivity, quick shifter and this gets the most interesting instrument cluster, fully digital TFT screen which have too things to show you.
KTM and Royal Enfield both are giving you extra features even KTM is giving you too much which is justify its price point on the other hand BMW is just giving basic functions.
Colours
Himalayan- Snow, Granite, Sleet Grey, Gravel Grey, Lake Blue, Rock red, Mirage silver, Granite Black and Pine green. (9 options)
G310GS- Rallye style, Polar white and Cosmic Black. (3 options)
390 Adventure- Orange and White. (2 options)
Enfield is offering amazing 9 colour options where it have dual tone and textured as well, however, BMW is given 3 options and KTM just comes in 2.
Conclusion, all the bikes are fantastic but if you are looking for something powerful and adventurous with features too, then KTM is there if budget is not too tight of you. If you just need a adventure machine which can do all the things nicely, where your pocket has limitations then Enfield is there.
GS is also a great machine but the biggest problem with BMW right now in India is limited service network which makes things difficult for those who are not so close to some big city.
