Ducati Monster 2021 is that monster whose price starts at 10.9 lakh and...... | Price, Power, Mileage, Features | HighRPM

Not all the monsters are life threatening, ugly and mysterious, some are life defining, sexy and absolutely mind blowing one such monster is Monster I mean Ducati Monster, yes, that stupendous Monster is back with some changes, with some new updates, with more power and most important with that same Monster soul and character. The Monster is that motorcycle which comes with power and coming from Ducati farm it is gorgeous too. Monster is that fighter which has all the elements which make a bike an enthusiastic soulful two wheeler.

It is full of modern tech for safety and for increasing the riding pleasure, all this perfectly mingle up with the sporty design and construct an impactful personality.

The cost of this Monster is 10.99 lakh for its standard version and the price of 11.09 lakh for plus variant.

  • Ducati Monster Standard.....10.99 lakh
  • Ducati Monster Plus.....11.09 lakh

It's a monster which lives because of 937cc twin cylinder L shaped Testasretta 11° Desmodromic Valvetrain liquid cooled fuel injected heart along with 94mm of bore & 67.5mm of stroke and compression ratio of 13.3:1 and slipper self servo mutiplate we clutch with hydraulic control. BS6 emission compliant.
It pumps out 111hp of power at 9250rpm and 93Nm of torque at 6500rpm, comes with 6 manual gears, chain drive and bi-directional quick shifters.

Being a monster it have good numbers of features and safety stuffs including,
  • Dual channel ABS
  • Cornering ABS
  • Traction control
  • Power mode
  • Quick shifters (up/down)
  • Adjustable clutch and brake lever
  • Wheelie Control
  • Ducati power launch
  • Phone charging port
  • Dynamic blinkers
  • Digital instrument cluster
  • Digital speedometer
  • Digital tachometer
  • Twin digital tripmeters
  • Digital odometer
  • Digital clock
  • Fuel gauge
  • Low fuel warning
  • Low oil warning
  • Gear position indicator
  • Gear shift indicator
  • Temperature meter
  • Riding modes (Urban, Touring, Sport)
  • Side stand indication

Talking about the mileage of this new Monster, 18.8 km/l is claimed by brand on the other hand 14L of fuel tank is there.

The new Monster comes with 320mm of dual disc Brembo brake setup at front with 120/ 70 17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyre and at the back it get 245mm of single disc Brembo brake fixed with 180/55 17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyre.

All LED lights are making it more premium and night ride more enjoyable.
Headlamp- LED
Tail light- LED
Blinkers- LED
DRL- LED

The dimensions of the bike is not available at the moment only seat height and wheelbase is known, the wheelbase is 1.474m. one of the phenomenal thing Ducati have done now is the option of seat height, means, it get three seat height options one is standard 820mm the highest, then it have 800mm of accessory seat and then it have lowest 750mm of accessory seat with low suspension kit. So, now the seat height problem is no more for short riders.

Looks
What you expect from a Ducati? Splendid power, unbelievable riding experience and freaking awesome looks and Monster always fulfilled that expectation but one thing which I miss or I don't like about the bike, I will tell you about that in a bit.

Face, from the front that aggression is there for sure and that actually goes with the scenario. Therefore, changes are definitely there like before it had perfect round shaped headlamp which was not a LED unit but now that perfect round is not perfect, the DRL ring is there looking majestic and the blinkers are also look very nice indeed. Being a naked bike wind screen is not there, it RVMs are giving more sportier bit to this machine. Adjustable brake and clutch lever respect every hand. The front tyre profile is pretty impressive and Pirelli don't need and kinda intro.

Side, the view from the side is just stunning, the blend of muscular and sporty body is undoubtedly phenomenal. One thing which I don't like is that, being a Ducati it won't have that single sided swing arm. The best thing I feel is its different seat height options, it get two piece seat and pillion seat cover is also available. Massive fuel tank stores good amount of fuel, and this time Ducati is offering different types of graphics for their Monster as well, thus you can customise your Monster in your own way. Get engine protector, two disc rotors with Brembo caliper are at front and single at the back. It get two exhaust pipe one right side of the bike and these two are responsible for superb vocal notes.

Rear, width of the rear tyre is massive thus all the attention goes to the rear Pirelli. The tail light design is just fab appears great at night. Blinker are slick which highlights the sportiness of the bike.

Instrument cluster, the cluster is similar to other Ducatis in the market. Unfortunately, its not the full colourful display and bluetooth connectivity is also not there although the system is literally full of information and tells you many things about the bike.
The past of Monster is full of memories, nostalgia, therefore, everybody need that same Monster as before and Ducati have made changes but that Monster things is still there and that is the main focus of new Ducati Monster 2021...........
